On further reflection/inspection, that looks like a civvie windshield frame and probably a non-original bumper. If it's the genuine article, it's been patched up on a budget.

Yeah, they're definitely not the wire ring protector version, which you'd think would be something the owner of a genuine one would preserve. Heck, if I were doing one up like this I'd make the damn things.
