Trying to figure out a little more about this RX7 i've ended up with...mostly how many owners and dealer origin. maybe if it shows when they reported the motor replaced (mileage discrepency?)

This is actually more than enough. I am not sure if the motor is original, but i can at least compare the serial and see. Mazda usually went the long-block route on replacement. This also helps to figure out whether or not the car was originally sold in cali or the 50 states. I actually have a few registration papers, but doubt it's a solid paper trail all the way back to owner #1 25 years ago. 2-? owners ago also owned a Jag Vanden Plas so it's probably been looked after until one of the middle owners circa 2010.

No problem! There's no customer pay history at any Mazda dealer, and very little warranty work. So if the engine was replaced, someone paid out of pocket either at an independent shop, their driveway, or it was done so long ago Mazda doesn't have records of it.
