The flares might be useful if you're wanting to fit significantly wider track tires, but you would probably just be better off running better compounds on the same width.

I like the fender flares a lot, but the paints and graphics are too much, and the aero is making claims that the engine can't back up.

Most people don't fit wider wheels in the wells. Just ridiculously low offset with giant spacers, so it fills the fender. Plus the rubber is always tuuuurrribblleee. Like the one on the car above.

Although I know of one racing team that did, they got 325 section tires up front and rear. It was amazing. The engine was limited to 400hp because of their class, but it revs all the way to 9k!!!

I had to go find the picture, because I can't find it on the forums, luckily I posted about it before!!!

Ha! I love that plate. I think both designs work well individually but I think the artwork on the base sheet metal would make it look out of place. Its like interior design, you need color and texture! :D
