I really hate being short, at 5'5" with a 26" inseam anything over a 32" seat height is challenging and most adventure bikes start at 35" seat height and up. An Adventure bike is pretty much out of the question because of this. Adventure bikes are still my favorite style of bikes so hopefully one day I will find a big bore Adventure bike that I can fit on.

Used Buell Ulysses? I'm the opposite, 6'4" and pretty much the only thing I fit on comfortably are adventure bikes.

apparently the Yamaha Super Tenere has a 33.3" seat height(in it's low setting) and you can buy lower profile seats for them. so with the right seat I might be able to get it around the 32.5" height and that would be quite manageable.
The only drawback is that the Yamaha is 80lbs heavier than my favorite bike. the KTM 1190 Adventure R. 570lbs dry is no joke when you're on you tippy toes.

My buddy has a 990. It's a beast of a bike!
