Looking for some input.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I've been playing around with of getting a pair of either the Speed Cats or Drift Cats, and maybe a 2nd pair in a different color if I like them. I'm wondering if anyone has a pair and has any input on them. Also, does anyone know of a retail place that might carry them in store, so I could try some on actually?

I've read quite a few reviews saying that they're really comfortable for both driving and every day use. If that's the case I wouldn't mind replacing my pairs of skate shoes with them, I feel like I've kind of outgrown the skate shoes look at this point.

Splurge just a little more and get a proper pare of race shoes from Simpson or Impact. Just my $0.02.

I've got a couple of pairs of Speed Cats, I love them for driving and they are my everyday shoes but I find the very thin soles make them a little uncomfortable if I'm doing lots of walking.

Also they size quite small, I needed to get a size and a half larger than my other shoes so I'd recommend finding somewhere to try them on.

Every time I think I've outgrown skate shoes and by something else I regret it.

I just got a pair of Speed Cats a few weeks ago and am pretty happy with them; was driving in Vans before. They're definitely more comfortable to drive in, but not as good for walking around because the soles are a lot thinner. And yeah, they do run small - I was able to get by with a half size bigger but I have skinny feet.

As far as trying on, you can probably find Pumas at a lot of places - once you know your size it's easy enough to order them online, I got mine off eBay for $40.

Well I know I can find Pumas most places. lol It seemed like these might have a slightly different fit than a regular shoe though. I have skinny feet too, so I can probably get away with just a half size bigger.

When I tried on the Puma's, they were seriously overly tight in the toe. I instead saved some money and got some FILA Mach 6's for $30 and I've been beyond pleased thus far. Been driving in them for almost a month now and I love them.

Not that I can tell - I have one regular pair and these fit exactly the same.
