Does anyone here who drives/has driven a truck have any experience with Rancho shocks? I ordered a pair of 5000 series for the front of my Ranger, after I noticed one of the shocks was leaking. I have inspection in a month, and I want to take care of it. I'm just disappointed because the shocks I have only lasted me about a year. They were cheaper, but still.
I'm just wondering if it was worth it to pay a little extra for the Rancho.

I do. Set of Rancho adjustables on the back of a 2500HD. They were (probably are, sold the truck) very beefy and did a better job than the Edelbrocks that were on there previously.

Cool. Sounds like they shouldn't be too bad then.

I was very pleased with them. Held up to a fair amount of towing and hauling with ease.

I had a set of Rancho adjustable shocks on my Wrangler and they lasted years. Worked great.

Mine aren't adjustable. I didn't have a need for them. Hopefully the standard ones work just as well.

Rancho has a solid rep. Should be solid, that being said, they tend to the harsher end of the spectrum unless you get the adjustable ones.

Well the truck seems to ride pretty stiff as it is. It's really light and gets thrown around more it seems. I decided to spring for the Ranchos (didn't intend that pun) hoping for more quality/longevity

A set of dampers can do wonders for a still ride, FYI. I have adjustable dampers on my cruiser and even with the stiffer springs, unloaded it rides better than stock with the dampers dialed down.

Oh I know. I also didn't get adjustable ones because I just started a new part time job and they were way too expensive.
