I'm sad, the almighty all-weather Corvette is now gone... Gone for good...
The guy who bought it is a mech so he'll take good care of it... I,m still terribly sad though... So long little re... yellow Corvette :). You've been really good to me
You are already very much missed...

I will miss Quebecquois... But I won't miss Montreal. As a Jalop, being constantly stucked in road works and dealing with people who it seems, have NO IDEA HOW TO FREAKING BUILD A PROPER ROAD that resists winters honestly really really pisses me off... I spent 7 years here, the last two years were nerve racking for me in term of driving... Traffic due to road works that don't repair shit... all the freaking time!

Haha, yeah I know there is always that little nagging feeling that they aren't going to take good care of it, but you can only hope for the best.
My friend had a really nice 93 vert 5.0 with cobra parts, traded it in to a small dealer who also collected classics. The guy kept it as his own for a while, but I did see it for sale a year or 2 later so who knows what happened to it now :(
The really sad part is, he traded it in because his future wife couldn't push in the clutch and wasn't the biggest fan of the car :/

Oh yeah, Montreal definitely suck for driving.
The island is not even fun to drive, its all straight line , punctuated by stop light and the occasional onramp. It's always clogged with traffic, and people just don't give a shit about other cars: they cut you off, tailgate, pass on the right... F*** this place.
the rest of the province has sweet driving roads though.

Nah I need a minimum of space for work to carry a few things... Even a Mx5 would be a tad too small... The Mr2 GT is tempting but within me I know it's just too small for what I need :)

8300$ with the extra set of winter tires (you know, the tires that I use if it's a bit cold outside... but no, no I don't drive it in the snow... lol)
Cheap as fuck considering the great shape of the car, but not choice... I'm leaving to Japan in 14 days... Got lucky finding someone on such short notice... It took about an entire freaking month to sell it :(

Well, I'm not planning on coming back to live in North America (I'm french don't forget, not canadian)... I spent over 10 years of my life on the american continent, I feel that it's time for me to change. E30 M3s are pretty "cheap" comparing to here or Europe... And I'm a firm believer that Alpinas E30 are the next big thing that collectors will fight for... So it's tempting to have that many available in Japan (they were huge fans of Alpinas there...).
I could also get a 2002 Turbo for 45K$ which is pretty much 20K$ under what they go for in North America... So I don't know...
Or I might just get a beaten up Silvia and destroy it in the mountains lol... I REALLY have no idea for now... Or maybe a NSX... Damn it never stops! :)

No particularcontext... I was often roadtripping with the Corvette and the trunk is big enough for me to sleep in it... so I would spend my nights in the trunk. It was actually really confortable and I would sleep crazy well. Only problem being when friends are around and take pics of me with their flashes in the middle of the night... :)
