Zinfandel is traditionally red, I guess red and white make pink. Although I'd take a red zin over a white "zin" every single time.

I think the red Zinfandel is made with the whole grape, skin included. White Zinfandel is just the pulp, if I remember correctly. I prefer a bit sweeter wine.......not real sweet though. So actually, I'm not a "real" wine drinker.

I first started drinking Beringer's White Zin, and switched to C.K. Mondavi because it was a little more tart. I'll have to try what you suggested. Sounds good.

Not drinking atm but when I do it'll be the strong lagers - Special Brew, Tennents Super, Skol, Oranjeboom, etc! ;) Also never understood the stigma around them when most wines are stronger - it#s about getting wrecked for cheap!
