Late summer, that is. I can't think of any other reason why the local CL is getting so many interesting cars listed. I think we're at the point where people don't want to have to store a car for the winter but think they still have time to get a good price.

Here in the "Heartland" prices on 4x4s are going up and prices on cars where the owner says "Ima ristore her one day" start plummeting.

High school already started here, oddly enough. I get two days and a weekend to laugh at the children and their plight as they cram all of their summer reading assignment into two days.

I think SUNY Oswego, the college in my town, starts Monday. My school starts on Sept 3. NY schools are usually the day or two after labor day. I know Minnesota and other mid western states are like the second to last weekend in August.
