I have a friend with a 2009 328xi which needs new struts. What are some of the best resources for parts and info? Thanks in advance.

getbmwparts.com
turnermotorsport.com
ecstuning.com
All have OEM parts. Turner and ECS also have a huge aftermarket variety. I also drive an E90, and these are my go to sites.

also worth noting, getbmwparts (formally Tischer) is actually run by a BMW dealership, Tischer BMW.

Rock Auto, Amazon, and shox.com

www.autohausaz.com will be the cheapest, and fantastic customer service

I didn't think of them for some reason. I use them for my 240d. They sent me a bag of gumballs once.

The right one got bent somehow and is causing premature wear on that tire.

I use bavarian auto, turner motorsport, pelican, and tischer. I MOSTLY use bavarian auto though.

I recommend Pelican, the site also has step by step instructions and tips on installation and removal of stuff

Ah, I see. Well anyway, the three sites I listed should have what you need. You can get Monroe OESpectrum at a great price if you need to save money, or Bilstein HD if you don't.

Not AutohausAZ, I don't think. I've been using them for a few years and they've never sent any candy. Other companies have, but not them

Might have been Pelican or Mercedessource. I know I got some sort of gumball from one of them and mints from another.

I've used FCP
extensively. they have knowledgeable staff, extensive selection, good prices, and fast shipping. At least for Volvo...

oembimmerparts.com (for gaskets, cheap suspension parts) Amazon (oil filters are the cheapest especially worth it if you have prime, suspension parts are ok)Rockauto -prices are OK but shipping me kills me and I only order when I'm not in a hurry. Don't go to big box stores like auto zone or advance, they tend to put a steep premium because of the BMW badge.

Realize this discussion is a few months old, but figured I'd mention www.bmwpnpc.com , not only for a good list of reliable and popular BMW parts vendors, but also for a useful tool to compare/shop them all. Covers the sites already mentioned plus a lot more. Check out the "About" and "FAQ" pages for more info. FYI
