If it's a Redline, yes it can.

If that's a red-line, it's actually a quick little car.

That looks like a Redline, so it can. Basically a rebodied Cobalt SS.

Looks like someone went full 3-D tuning IRL.
Love the ST blue. I wanted blue, white, and silver in that order.
I got silver.

Only the supercharged one. And it probably has stock brakes and the unlimited slip diff.

Ion redlines are actually decently quick. However, the turbocharged cobalt SS was much better than the supercharged one so the ion falls short in its own family. Oh and the Focus ST attacks the track like a beast.

But it could. Plus, the Cobalt SS was no slouch.

Turbocharged one wasn't a slouch and was actually a real giant slayer. Supercharged was quick, but ehhhh......it was so outshined by the turbocharged one that I have a hard time thinking about it as fast. From what I remember about the ion redlines, they made power easy but cooked their brakes a lot and understeered pretty badly. Oh and overheating was common due to idiot builders just jamming the smallest pulley from ZZP they could get on the blower and calling it good.

To be fair, the last one was any average ricer's fault and not the cars.

True, but that's the typical owner of this car. Same with the cobalt SS. Go to any autocross and there are two camps - D-bags in 'baltSS and everyone else going "As long as I beat that dillweed in the balto, I call this a win"

It was like having really good sex but you get interrupted by parents halfway through.
