There's racial tensions in the south (not just Missouri even though it's technically not the south)

Israel keeps getting attacked by Palestine

The big three are all making big powerful cars against each other again

We're stuck in an unpopular war with an unpopular president

It almost seems it's the 60's again, what's going on?

Besides the cold war, I'm seeing a lot of similarities to the period of time just prior to break out of WWI. It seems everybody is at each others throats for stupid reasons, and just one Gavrilo Princip could set the whole thing off.

It's not really just Missouri there's stuff happening down there that has and hasn't made news. An example the Trayvon Martin thing was a whole racial battle and that was in Florida.

Missouri isn't in the south. Were in the Midwest.

I live 10 minutes away from those racial tensions. And my tech school is less than four miles away from the epicenter.

Well they were part of the confederacy so you're kind of the south. I know it's technically the mid west but it can be considered the south depending on where you consider the beginning of the south is.

The Trayvon Martin bullshit wasn't racial at all until CNN made it that way. It was a cut and dry self defense case. You can point at racism at any angle, but at the factual angle it is far leaning on the other side than what makes the news.

Well I never believed it was racial but people just had to make it that way. People just flipped the fuck out because they kid was black, people made it that way, I never thought it was a race related crime. I would confront someone who was sketchy regardless of race if I was neighborhood watch.

What's funny is, that the people who were pointing fingers, didn't look at the statistics of white on black crime, black on white crime, white on white crime, and black on black crime. There is a serious problem, but it's not the Zimmer that is the problem.

I live in Syracuse on the weekends and about 70% if not more is black on black crime. Some black on white and the other way around but it's mostly black on black. Kind of like Chicago.

Yeah, some of the most entitled too. I went to the Bronx Zoo on a Wednesday when it was by donation so it was packed. Pretty much anyone who wasn't white would push you out of the way. Even Europeans were more polite than many of the people there.*
*I'm not trying to sound racist but that was my observation of that day. It frankly pissed me off.

It's been my experience as well, except in Florida. Everyone darker than a white person still has their sanity. Guess it has something to do with the sun, when it occasionally pops out. But I know plenty of good folks of any color. I don't car what you are as long as you're not an asshole. Only I can be an asshole.
