How does one go about procuring an Oppo sticker? Figured, now that I have a car...
Also, I cleaned it today! I even found the switches for the power locks, and they work! And I figured out why the car smelled funny. The rust hole behind the licence plate went all the way through into the trunk. Hence the lake where the spare goes. Hence the smell.
Have a picture of the most beautiful intake known to man. (Once its clean and painted ) And thanks to no pictures in comments, no one can prove me wrong! Muhahaha.

There are 2 choices here.
Also, this is quite relevant. Nice SHO!

Thanks! I just picked it up on Monday, and I had no idea what I had until some fellows on the SHO forum set me straight. 1 of 30 green SHO + with black leather in 91. Runs like a champ, and has no brakes at all. Smells like something died in the trunk.
Thanks for the info.

You can tell people your car is rarer than almost any supercar they can think of!

Thanks! I was gonna use it for parts for my Capri, but I've fallen in love with this smelly green turd. As rare as it is, I just don't have the heart to cut it up.

That is brilliant. Only thirty built, how many you think survive?

I couldn't do it either. I'm not a Ford guy, but I have a soft spot for those early SHOs. Got any pictures of your Capri?

That will be badass. I always forget about how awesome those Capris look. And that would be a good call, because I would end up the same way as you did. So, will the SHO be your daily driver, and the Capri will be your weekend car?

The SHO will be a daily, yes, but since i just found out that i live 3 hours away from no less than NINE rally stages.... Well, you can see where this goes. i even know a chap that rallies a Capri on a weekly basis with no problems.
They are, im my oppinion, the best proportioned car ever.

Oh my god. YES. That is genius. It will make a hell of a rally car, no doubt about that.
For sure, they have awesome proportions. Like I said, I always forget how great they look, because they are almost none here in Michigan.

Wish I could post pictures of my fathers Capri. He's got #46 John Players Special from the German Touring Car Series from back in the 70's. He's bringing it home this weekend to cram the engine back in.

Oooh yes. The first car that I actually bought with money (as opposed to being given to me by folks who didn't want to pay registration for their heap) was a '95 SHO. I've owned 1989, 1995, and 1999 SHOs at different points.
It looks like you have your work cut out for you, but those Gen 1 and 2 SHOs are just so much fun to drive when they are running well. I'm not a fan of cone-type air filters, but dropping in a K&N-style panel filter into the stock airbox gives you a nice increase in the sweet, sweet intake noise those Yamaha v6's make.
Does Bizzy on SHO Forum still do her 5 speed diff pin fix? I'd imagine those transmissions are getting a little hard to come by these days, so it's something I'd consider.
