My random CL posts just became relevant actually...
I HAVE A JOB!
It was so weird how it all happened.
K-i-n-j-a-s-p-a-c-e
So I get a random phone call from my girlfriend saying come up to where she works because they're super low on staff and need more people (I had already applied.) I jump up, throw on some nicer clothes and head up there thinking I'm just going to re-fill out an application (for the third time.)
Nope.
Manager comes out and talks to me, then heads back into the back room to call someone. A few minutes later he comes out and says I'd fit in well there and that I'd be their first new hire since their owners changed so he has to figure out what all he has to do. So he said don't apply anywhere else.
So now I just have to wait for him to call me to come back up and do what I have to do.
So excited and happy.
New car fund: Officially started.

Either back of house cooking, or front of house serving. (I forgot to add it's a deli)
The manager didn't say... He didn't tell my girlfriend either until she started pretty much.

Well, I didn't plan to apply anywhere else anyway.
