Do you own that or are you just leasing it?

Lucky. College kid with an ST, seems logical.

You say that, but paying $300 a month, not so much. But other than that, logical indeed.

What year is it? I want a Focus, and am possibly thinking of leasing it since I wouldn't drive it enough to but more miles than necessary. Under $200 would be a nice payment I'd think.

$200, I'd love that right now. It's a 2014. I've done 7500 miles in just 6 months. I drive too much.

I just made a 2014 SE hatch in black with the 5 spd and a couple things but it's pretty stock and it's $166/mo. Time to convince my mom to let me do it once I get a job. 2,000 down. Too bad there's not a Ford dealer in my town.

How much did you pay for it? It seems a lot for a college kid to pay for a car.

Why not just wait until a 205 comes out? Also, why not buy a used 2012-13?

The thing about my case, is that I sold my last car('08 Saturn Astra) for $7500 and my parents added another $1000 for an $8500 down payment. Parents cover insurance and I pay for it monthly.

I don't know, it wouldn't be until spring anyway or late winter once I've more saved and I'll be closer to or have my licence, I'm not buying yet. More I could put down the less I have to pay monthly.

How much different is the '15 going to be?

2015: http://www.ford.com/cars/focus/201…

Yes. The more down, the less you pay.

Good thing I'm waiting, that front end is definitely better than the current SE. Will have to see how much it'll be once I can configure it.

Show rooms early 2015, so I presume around October at the earliest. I'll be able to wait.

That's good to hear. And if you can get an ST, there might be some 13-14s left on the lot.

Yeah, when I'm ready I'm going to look at the Ford dealer in the next town over. I'd love an ST, but I'd settle for an SE because the 15 is good looking, the 13's aren't that bad themselves. I wonder how the 6spd will be in the 15 SE, or 5 if that's what will be in it again.

From what I've seen, the 6-spd will only be in the Ecoboost option and ST only.

Interesting, how's the 6 in yours?

Smooth and buttery shifts, but notchy and easy to shift.

What do you mean by "notchy"?

That's good to hear though. I've heard and read that it was a good transmission.

Notchy, as in there's some good feel in the shifting. rowing the gears feels nice.
