Ideally contributing an article a week. Right now Jeremy, I, and Devlin (admittedly mostly Jeremy) are running the website just ourselves. If you can legitimately do one article a week, we nees you.

Based on the results of my investigative research, it looks like the site in question is < www.heresthethingauto.com >.

It looks relatively new, with a minimum amount of content available. With that said, I admire your balls for starting something from scratch.

What type of articles are you looking for? What topics, or sub-topics of auto enthusiasm do you want covered? What is your selection process for choosing who you allow to write for your page, and what's in it for the new writers?

Yeah we haven't been doing this for too long.

Pretty much we write about anything automotive related, if there is big industry news we'll write about that, but it's mainly geared right now towards people who like cars, but might not necessarily know a lot about them.

When it comes to the selection process, to be honest we don't have much of one yet, because it's just been the 3 of us. We had a few people who signed on to be guest writers, but never heard anything from them. Pretty much what it'll come down to is, do you want to write about cars? Do you love cars? Yes and yes, than that's good with us.

One article a week per writer is a goal that we want to attain, but we understand that sometimes it's just not possible.

We had a few guys that signed on to be guest writers but never heard from them, so as long as we know you're still on board, then that is fine.

Anything car related that you want to write about, you can come on and write a few articles if you like as a guest writer and see if you want to be a regular contributor if you'd like.

Essentially hobby stuff. I could knock out one or two a month — maybe more depending on the month. Do transcribed video comment to make income off of ad sales on youtube, roll the subscribers on youtube into website subscribers on the website, put out weekly newsletters. Sell Ad space on the newsletters. Bam, profitable without being offensive.

I've got too much going on to take up an unpaid hobby, or I'd be more interested. Good luck.

Also, another idea for articles: review local dealerships. While doing so, ask if they will let you test drive new cars to review, provided that you also bump their dealership at the same time. It's a win-win.

No worries about paying if it's not a super regular thing that I have deadlines for. But I will write a few things and send them your way. If you like them, use them and give me credit. It might be a fun hobby for me and a way to grow your site. I have never been a writer before, so I don't do this expecting you to be blown away or to even want my material. Our goal is one article a week per writer, but when it comes down to it, right now it's an unpaid hobby, so if you can't get an article in a week, no big deal. And yeah you'll get credit, each writer always signs their name at the bottom and I also created a category for each writer, so it's easier for readers to find posts by specific writers.

And no worries about not being a writer, I never really wrote before Shawn and I started this.
