I also drove it around the block. Clutch needs to be bled, spedo doesn't work, nor the horn or radio.

I let it idle at various RPMs for about 15 minutes and put the air cleaner back on and it sounds like a normal 240D. Little smokey but that might be because the altitude enrichment devices isn't hooked up.

Alternator works but the starter will need to be replaced. It sounded like an old propeller plane whirring while it was running. The bendix had stuck but it's fine now.

This is awesome!
