Almost perfectly preserved (or restored, I never found out) NA Miata. The blue is also beautiful. It had either 147K or 14,7XX on the clock. Not sure. didn't spend a lot of time analyzing it. I was fairly certain it was 147K though. Seemed high for the condition.

It might be 14.7k miles! It looks too clean for 147k unless the owner paid for a recent respray, unfaded interior, and bent the headlight brackets back into place. NAs have a tendency for the headlights to sink into the body slightly, causing a gap between the backside of the headlight lid and the front of the hood.

Ah, a garage queen. Because when you buy an inexpensive driver's car the best thing to do is keep it in the garage and drive it on Sundays.

I know someone who has a 1990 Miata with under 20k miles. They are the original owner, and it is supercharged.

The headlight gap is almost always from hamfisted mechanics leaning on them. You just flex them back up (really thin metal, easy to bend).

It's so common it's even in the factory service manual.

Seriously, it could have been 14 k but I could have sworn it was more. It was the nicest NA I had ever seen.

Agreed. It's meant to be driven.

I completely forgot about that one too! I can't tell you how many cars were there but there was a LOT! It was hard to keep up with the constant in and out of new cars.

A friend of mine back in Mass has one just like it. He had restored it himself and painted it a very similar color to this. I almost thought it was his.

Do. Want. Or at least do want to drive. Why does this person not drive it that much?

It's his special occasion miata. He's worked at a mazda dealer for the last 35 years and since he bought this one he's probably owned at least 50 different miatas. He built some of the original spec miatas and knows pretty much everything about them. He also has the most bad-ass garage known to man

NO! I thought everyone had one! I tried to get my dad to bring up the Seagrave but getting up that early just to go to a morning show wasn't in his plan. Sad.

They must have all thought that everyone else was bringing theirs.

Yeah which I think is for sale, along with his 300+HP MS3.

Oddly, I would take the 6 over the 3.
