IMSA isn't going back to Indy!?

I just read the new schedule and it's not going back....that was the closest race to me for the series...now the closest is Road America which is over 6hrs away...but Indy was on my birthday last 3 years, July 25th, now it's at Lime Rock Park...I was planning on seeing that series at Indy one more time but I guess not

But they're going to Watkins Glen. All is still well. Indy isn't a big loss. At least they're going to Lime Rock again.

well I was gonna be going to Indy next year for my birthday to see the race and I'm not gonna drive 6hrs to see a race because that would be too much money Indy is only 3hrs away and IMO a better place to have a race

Its not the best road course though. I'd rather watch Mid Ohio and Lime Rock. More traditional sports car courses. I understand where you're coming from.

I was so happy when my dad told me that they were going back to Lime Rock. Instead of having to drive 5 or 6 hours to see a race at WGI, I can drive 3 hours to see it at LRP!

You can still make the drive to the Glen. Its an amazing track and if you haven't been you need to at least once.
