Over 3,000 cars turned up for the show today, to the point where the show filled up, the spectator parking filled up, and thousands of cars (including myself) were asked to just pull to the side of the highway where we had been waiting for an hour and just park there, a ways away from the show. Of course, I couldn't get a picture of all 3,000 cars. Which was 0kay, because of the 3000 cars there, there were maybe 150-200 I found interesting. Mustangs, Corvettes, lifted pickups, Civics, Evos, WRXs, Nissans, Supras, and other stanced street-racer type stuff made up about 80% of the turnout. Still, there was plenty of really cool stuff. Some highlights were, in no particular order:
A very fast-looking tuned Evo and an also fast-looking tuned Challenger. There were hundreds like them, so I had to take a pic of one to give you an idea.
1960 Cadillac Sedan de Ville.
Wrangler pick-up.
The plate/frame makes me want to forgive him.
Ironically, the tent behind the R8 is for the Audi/BMW/Mercedes/VW tuning shop that I bought my car from. They were one of the event's co-sponsors.
Of course, very few other people seemed to care about the Peugeot 1007.
Corvette-powered Toyota Stout.
Sorority girl alert.
Hummer & Jeep, ready for the Rubicon trail.
Golf Harlequin.
aaaand our parking arrangements.

Oh god who's beigemobile?
...Oh wait. Kidding.
That lifted truck is completely forgivable with that plate frame.
And dat R8, I want it...and the 911...and the 300 SRT-8...most of them, I want most of them honestly.
How the hell is that 1007 over here though?

I learned how to drive and parallel park in one of the big beauties. Ours was grey and had the reading lights instead of the opera windows. God those were so big.
True story. We were heading to the beach when we came across some stopped traffic on the highway. We got stopped, but behind us, an Elvis impersonator in an `78 Town Car Coupe ran into the back of ours. We all got out, and it turned out that in the meeting of these two highway behemoths, out trailer hitch knocked one a little chrome off of his bumper. Wasn't really a problem though as there was another layer of chrome underneath.

I was walking to my car, and as it came driving up the road, I pulled out my phone to try and get a picture. The guy actually pulled into the middle lane and stopped so I could get a pic.

It was a lot better than some of the shit there. Civics, Fortes, TCs, and Altimas, all with nothing but a noisy exhaust and a bunch of stickers.

Honda Accord Coupe.

It is actually snot/vomit colored. It isn't easy to win "worst in show" at one of these, but this guy made it look easy.
![]() 08/09/2014 at 21:58 |

Yes, at least these obnoxious stickers are on a true M car. Honestly, is it's a track toy, I've got no problem with it (other than the fact they're the wrong color).

Yeah, no kidding. There was obviously cool cars, but for every 1 car I found cool, there were probably 15 I didn't give a shit about, and of those 15, 3 probably had no business in the show in the first place. I guess everyone has there thing though.

No, that's kind of stupid.

Unfortunately (almost criminally), it had huge shiny chrome aftermarket rims.

Yeah, his is pretty kitted out. Lowered, all the visual stuff, I'm sure there's performance mods too. It's a 1.8L though...

Wisconsin? I've seen that multicolored VW.

It's called the Harlequin edition. They made like 300 of them from the factory. So probably not the same car, despite how unique it would appear.

As far as engine mods go it has everything the 1.8 can have except headers. In addition to that it has BC Coilover suspension, rear sway bar and Fifteen52 Tarmacs wrapped in Michelins.
I should know, its mine :) Thanks for taking a liking to it..

No problem. I was tempted to caption it the "super Sonic" but that just sounded completely un-original.

I always thought this was a Civic. Apparently it's a Toyota Starlet.
