So that whole center console is one piece molded to the entire left side of the dashboard. So if for example I wanted to replace the radio I would have to remove 90% of the dashboard.
Anyways, todays project was this phone mount and hardwired iphone cable.

most likely it comes apart easier than it looks. GMs were always way worse than Chrysler cars to me.

It probably involves some wizardry of removing the vents or something, and unbolting the radio from underneath, or that little binnacle tray thingy on top.
At least it's a normal appearing radio, and not one of those integrated HVAC/radio faceplates with an audio unit behind it.

the best way to figure it out is probably to go to a place like www.metraonline.com and look up the dash kit for the vehicle. What most people don't realise is that dash removal instructions are included with the dash lit for the aftermarket stereo, and those are available on the website. Most jeeps involve taking the vent along the windshield off and then removing to screw from the top of the dash. I may be way off, but it's been a while since I was in a jeep.
