Motel 6 charges for WiFi and it took so long to get checked in that after about 14 hours of driving, I just decided to turn in rather than type up a storm on a phone. Have another raw shot from yesterday.

Had a similar experience with them recently. Never again. It would have been worth it if the place was half the price. And when you do pay for WiFi it only works on one device. That place was stupid.

Even worse they don't have coffee at all! Not in the room, not even in the lobby in the morning. They do however allow pets. I would never stay stay there again if I'm dogless.

Three rules of staying at a Motel 6 (and America's Best Value, which is just a rebadged Motel 6):

1) Don't plan on using the internet

2) Sleep on top of the covers, not under them

3) Leave any bag that isn't absolutely necessary in the car. Any bag you must bring in be sure to leave on some form of hard, elevated platform. Don't ever set it on the bed.

Oh I kept everything in the bathroom on the sink counter. I figure they disinfect that. At least, that's what it smelled like in there.
