Has anyone ever seen this Zombie Apocalypse Survival Vehicle, AKA Tucker Sno Cat before?
It is quite rad.

I've always thought these kinds of apocalypse vehicles are dumb. They will be horrendous on fuel and when they eventually run out you will be trapped in a metal coffin. I would make my homebase an armoured fortress and then grab one of these:
However if I ever need to mount an assault on a Druglord's home, I know who to call.

I just rode in one of those a few days ago, they are quite nice, but surviving the apocalypse is not just about avoiding the zombies, so that thing might still needs a little armoring up, lest ye get shot by a bandit! :)

I'm about to get really anal about a fictional circumstance but I've played a lot of zombie games recently so I pretty much have a standard way of dealing with such an event.
For me Zombies aren't the problem. They should die after a year due to starvation. The real problems are other people and supplies. So I'm gonna need something fast for legging it and something with good carrying capacity thus the Octavia VRS but why not an E63 or CTSV you may ask well the Octavia VRS can have a diesel engine which is good since most generators runs on diesel too. This way I can focus on one fuel supply and if worse comes to worse I can start raiding chip shops for old cooking oil. Plus I live in London where pretty much all public services use Octavia VRS for some reason which means I won't be lacking in beefy spares.
Needless to say I have thought this through hopefully I wouldn't have needed too because honestly my biggest worry about being in a post apocalyptic situation is running out of toilet paper and I don't want to be running for my life with a shitty arse.

Personally, I'd go even further. A Honda Fit would be perfect for the apocalypse. Small, maneuverable, good on gas, nice amount of interior space, very reliable and relatively easy to work on, etc. If civilization collapses, that would be the first car I'd go for.
