Don't know what the parameters are for historic plates. Maybe if the car "looks" old? I'm sure that's a replica anyway.

A REAL ONE?!?! I'd be afraid to drive that in traffic.

that's a Factory Five if I've ever seen one. Tell is in the rear bumper guards. Lots of replicas can apply to register as the original car as long as they maintain like-ness to the original.

In MD I think it's 25 years old. So maybe it's a 25 year old replica? Idk.

That one isn't. I know a guy with a real one that does get driven in traffic. Yeah, given it's appraisal value, terrifying to drive in traffic.

It's funny how everyone "knows a guy" that has a "real one" and drives it in traffic. lol But, as luck would have it, so do I. Actually, my neighbor that lives right across the street owns an original 427 Cobra and an original Shelby GT500KR. There are a couple really nice repro 427 Cobra's in the neighborhood, including one who's owner also has an '08 Shelby GT500 Mustang, then I have both an '09 and '14 GT500's and have either a FF or Superformance replica 427 Cobra on my "next car" list. Kind of a "boy's club" around here. hehe

Our small town hardly has what you can call real "traffic", but then, it only takes one soccermom Suburban or ricer civic to blow a light when you're driving what amount to irreplaceable cars (my neighbor's original Cobra and GT500KR).
