Couldn't get the '46 international started, then it flooded, and then the battery died. The only person who is more familiar with this truck than I am won't pick up their phone. All I want to do is go home.

'46 International, eh?
I've been wanting a truck of a similar vintage. I suppose if I ever get one, I'd better prepare myself for similar events.

Eventually got it started thank god. Had to sit around for a while to get the gas to evaporate. Then opened the choke all the way to get max air to offset the mass amounts of gas. Took a bit, but she started after several tries.

Oh, wow. I forgot about the fun of a flooded carburetor! I usually just kept turning until it started sounding like it had a good chance...
