So, since I'm new here, I figured I would ask. Any of you guys going to the Dream Cruise? Also, do any of you guys go to the Cars & Coffee at Pasteiner's in Birmingham? I've never been there, but I was planning on possibly going sometime soon. Was just wondering if it was worth a look or not. Have a Jalpa for your time.

I'll be around for the Dream Cruise and my Dad is coming in from NY. I'm not sure how to go about getting some kind of front page post for a meetup, I think that would be awesome.

Haven't been to that Cars & Coffee, I'll have to check it out sometime soon.

Yamahog (my gf and also Opponaut) and I will be out on Woodward during the whole week of the cruise (we live in ROak) in my obnoxiously green Mustang, so keep an eye out. There is a fair number of SE Michigan Opponauts on here. I'll be setting up a Google doc tomorrow of all of us so that we can have a Oppomeet during the cruise.

Pasteiners C&C is great and highly recommended. We're there every morning and with the variety of cars theres never a dull moment.

Cool! Yeah, I figured I'd make a post just for the heck of it. It would be awesome if we all could get some sort of meetup, but it will ever get noticed this way. Oh well. I'll probably end up going to that C&C. Hopefully its worthwhile.

Yeah, I go cruising around Woodward every little while. I've been going to the cruise for a long time, but this will be the first year I'm driving in it. I live around 25 minutes away, in Holly. So, by obnoxiously green, I assume you mean Gotta Have It Green? That color always looks so great on Mustangs, and its pretty underused.

Good to hear about the C&C! I just recently learned that it takes place there, and I'm planning on heading up there this Saturday with my buddy and his Mustang.

I drive a silver 1986 Corvette. Not anything special, but I love it to bits. I made my first post yesterday, and it has a little bit of information on it, if you want to check it out.

Got any pics of your Mustang? Or are they within that link?

Nice! That's a cool looking Mustang, dude. He has a 1994 GT Convertible. Its Deep Forest Green, with Saddle interior.

He's had it for quite a while now. Done a lot of work to it, and put in an electronic engine control unit so it actually idles and is drivable. He's told me the QC at Lamborghini was awful, and it's screwed together with many different types of fasteners. The yellow wheels are a bit much I think, but it's still a cool, rare car.

Well, that's awesome! Nice to see someone that still wants to drive theirs. I never would have expected the quality at Lamborghini to be so bad! That's just insane. Yeah, the yellow wheels are a bit of overkill. Otherwise, that thing is awesome.

His car was built before Lambo was owned by Chrysler. Their quality was abyssmal; one of the things that improved hugely from Chryco ownership. As wild as the car looks, its 3.5 V8 is only making 255hp. Meaning a V6 Mustang is just as fast. (obligatory Jalop measuring standard)

Hmm. Never knew that! Learn something new everyday, I guess. Yeah, its kinda sad that the performance is on par with a V6 Mustang. A V6 Mustang won't turn nearly as much heads, though.
