All sorted out now. Sold a bunch of the older ones I had, including ones I bought and fixed for profit. Running an HP ZBook 14 which is a solid workstation-class ultrabook and the other machine is an HP ENVY 15" TouchSmart I snagged for... $430. 750GB HD, i5, 8GB RAM and 1920x1080. Any of ye recommend any decent Windows 8.1 software? Thanks

8.1 software as in, like, Metro Apps? The only ones I use regularly are Netflix, Plex and Splashtop in terms of functionality.

I also use Pin Steam just because it makes my collection look good.

An old Dell 14R. N4110. Came with 7 but I upgraded it to 8 when it was $40 for sale. 8.1 was a free upgrade to it too.

Windows 8 ftw! I have a Dell XPS 12. Touch screen is almost necessary though. I've used a computer with Windows 8 and no touchscreen and I was like lol wut.

Either one of those have a solid state hard drive? They are great. Both my work computer and personal computer have solid state and I won't be going back.

8.1 is always a free upgrade from 8

ZBook has a 256GB SSD, this one doesn't. I don't think it needs one anyways. I'm using it for music stuff
