Why's there a NASCAR race on in the middle of the week?

Is the question asked to me by the service manager of my dealer, as he and I were out to lunch yesterday at Buffalo Wild Wings.

I had to do a 180 in my chair to see the only TV (out of a Gilliun) that was showing this race, and it was the Continental series. At Indy.

He said "That looks like an airport.... look at that tower"

I did try to make a "They're turning the wrong way!" joke, since they run Indy clockwise, but it fell on deaf, and obviously very dumb ears.

I hate my job.

I was at the race in the picture. It was good, especially when those Mustangs flipped.
