I just want to wash my car but the weather is always forecasting rain, then it never rains!

It sucks, the weather has been like this for the past week. Whenever it isn't raining it's really hot+humid.

The forecasted sunny days will end up with isolated thunderstorms and the rainy days will end up just being overcast. Weather is just teasing us enthusiasts.

The Mother kit is okay at best. For a beginners it's alright. Do your self a favor and pick up a clay bar that doesn't have a kit next time. You don't need spray wax, just good car soap and water will be good enough. I don't know where you live, but maybe there's a local detailing supply store near you, they usually have some standard clay bar in light, medium and heavy grades for you.

Yeah you didn't ask for advice, but I'm just lonely...

SO LONELY

That's why getting a cheap beater car is a good idea. It is going to rain all week and I just clayed and waxed my car. I just use the beater car until it is nice outside.

I don't have a garage :(

But yeah, I've been tossing the idea around of doing that. A family member recently sold his E90 and he had tons of uninstalled mods that he's going to sell me really cheap. I'm mainly looking to pick up coilovers and a ton of M3 suspension components. My mechanic (close family friend) is willing to give me a few hours a week to install the parts myself at his shop 35 minutes away from my house, so I'd have to leave my car there. Basically in a few months I'm gonna have you guys find me a car to tool around in for a few weeks while I install all the parts on my E90.

Don't worry, I'm always up for some advice!

Yeah this kit wasn't my first choice, there aren't any detailing shops near me. I needed a new MF towel and clay so for $18 I figured why not. 2 bars, a big MF towel, and some instant detailer. Not a bad deal. Usually I'd just buy some better clay but I don't want to have to wait for it to ship.

I'm a few hours north in NoVa. It's been bad lately, raining a lot at night and whenever it isn't raining it's really hot/humid.

That's Virginia. "Wow you're soaked, is it raining?" "No it's just 90° and 95% humidity" or the adage "have to chew the air before you can breathe it"

I thought the M3 from the picture was yours. 3 pedals? It is nice when a shop lends a hand. The tire shop where I bought my tires let me use their car lift for me to install my exhaust. Hope you can get an LSD.

Nah I drive a 328i sedan in the same color. I've been talking a lot about picking one up though. It's an auto sadly :( I was sort of in a rush to buy and after having 3 manual cars (2 M3's and a 335is) sell out from under me I was willing to settle.

Haha yeah that pretty much sums up summer in Virginia. Spring and fall are always great here. It's the seasons that come between those that suck..
