I bought it for my best friend in junior high for his birthday. Never had the cash to buy another copy again. High Stakes was the last NFS I bought. The rest were stolen straight from Kazaa at the time.

It's cheesy now, but it was a blast to plan back then. You take the place of a child who was transported to Horrorland, and it's a first-person, click adventure. Plus the werewolf, I loved the werewolf, :).

It's ok to feel unsure about the future generations. I do. Yes, kids are too serious. Especially the ones who play COD/GTA at the age of 7. I'm a strong supporter of playing games that are age appropriate.

It brings up the question, how involved are the parents in their child's life? Do they even know what their kids do for fun?

And MK was one of the games that pushed the envelope on ESRB ratings, so it was a much needed game.

You have all the right to talk! If you think something you did was wrong, stick with it! I'm gonna be the best parent in the world until my daughter gets in her pre-teens. Then I'm gonna be the worst because I won't let her have "fun", :).

Yeah... Video Ezy back in Oz used to have hundreds of old DC, N64, PS1 and PS2 games for rent. Now we borrow vintage games from Atte and Ivan's collection. Today's games are pretty shitty and complicated. They're so not fun.

BTW, we're finally done with the big post. But we have to wait for the IT to iron out Kinja's fuckery. Kinja couldn't handle the size of our post.
