UPDATE!
Took the truck back in to show that there is still metal in the oil after they "changed" the oil and filter twice. they say there is nothing there.... im about done dealing with this incompetent shop manager. time to go talk to a lawyer? our first calls to corp didn't do a damn thing. i feel kinda bad the stealership was recently sold and the new owners are walking into this blind. i would also feel slightly guilty trading the truck in and dumping it on someone else.
Now i get to leave work to go pick my GF up and try to keep my voice at reasonable levels when i go speak to the service manager..... shes got her eyes on a new escape after going round for round with these a holes.

Send a sample of your current oil in to them, that way if you do decide to go to a lawyer, you've got proof that theres metal in the oil

thanks! i signed up for a test kit but she is done with that dealership, new owners or not. i think shes getting a ferd
