Had a brief moment of confusion. I couldn't remember what boring grey traverse I was driving. Know what never happens? Getting my Trans Am confused with another car.

You know what? This made me think about something important with the Traverse.
It needs a mechanical upgrade. Even with the dual exhaust setup, it only has 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, when you can get a smaller Equinox with 301 hp and 272 lb-ft of torque out of an updated version of the Traverse's engine (the Traverse has the older High Feature LLT, whereas the Equinox has an available High Feature LFX).

I think it's fine. I was driving the single exhaust set up. It's a lot peppier than my 2000 Blazer with the 3600 V6. The Trans is a bit annoying and the body is bland but the engine I like.

Isnt the first one an Equinox? Or is it the last gen Traverse. Dammit GM stop using the same front on everything.

Yesterday my (basically) step brother hopped into the backseat of some other family's silver ford explorer instead of my dads which was parked next to it.

The Traverse/Enclave/Acadia are far and away the most common vehicles around here. I see more of them than anything, even the Camry.

Aside from different headlights they look pretty similar. That's a 2013 Equinox LTZ. And my grand fathers truck.

Wow, that's almost sad how much they look alike.

I'm so glad the new ones have an updated front end. Only way you can tell the difference is the length and some other stuff.

Life is too short to drive cars boringly.
