So 13.5k mile garage queen, anyone? Also, I am "loving" the DSC off at idle light on the dash. Great a 13k mile M3 with mechanical issues because it hasn't been maintained properly.

Also, this description is hilarious:

Won't find another like this one, 13,500 miles. That's all I have to say, if you are interested and have the money please call me to see the car. No joy rides, or tire kickers who want to low ball me or offer dumb trades. No rush to sell at all, so please don't bother unless you are very serious.

Years ago in StL there was a CL ad for an MR2 that was about 8 paragraphs long. My favorite part was he had a sentence that read something like (all caps of course, cuz you know, CL) I HAVE THE TWO FACTORY SERVICE MANUALS TO (sp). THOSE ARE REALLY RARE. DON'T TELL ME THAT ITS (sp) NOT!

All this for a $3000 beater. I was dying to call and give him shit about the manuals. Those aren't rare, you know those aren't rare. Give 'em to me, their everywhere, I was a Starbuck's today and they had AW11 Service Manuals at the check out.

40 grand? CP. I wish there were a way to rescue that car and drive it. Poor thing - I'm not sure that ~1,200mi/yr is even enough to keep things working properly.

Not for me. The only financing I'm willing to get begins with one payment and ends with ownership being transferred to me, permanently.

I had to rescue many a drunken Marine and Sailor there on a few different stops on the way home. Ah the glory and responsibility when you quit drinking forever.

I am imagining the day where i walk in with a suitcase to the seller's house and count out 200-300k in cash and walk out with the deed and all resource rights on the property thereof.

Pattaya is pretty cool, just do a double biceps pose when you are accosted by the many sellers of fleshly goods, for the women it is offensive and they will get mad at you, but the ladyboys will smile and do a muscle pose back to you. #thingsyoulearn

This sounds like someone Gooogled, "What's a future classic that may god up in value? 'E46 M3. Okay, and what's the most important feature for it to have? Low miles, gotcha." And then that was all the more research he ever did before flipping a car.

Think about it. This car has two essential elements of a pricey seller; low miles & future classic, but it has absolutely nothing else to make it worth the price (clean, mechanically sound, driven/owned by someone with even the tiniest clue what they're doing).

Kinja'd!!! N51fanatic > Wishin & workin for an E39 M5

GTFOH, this seller is crazy. A 1990 pristine M3 just sold for 58k. A 24 yr old, much rarer car. This clown thinks he's gonna get 40k? Maybe in 10 years. Not now.

Newsflash folks, right now the E46 M3 is just a used car. Nothing more, nothing less.

This guy gets it. So who wants to commit a hostile takeover of Car-Buying Advice with me? I have the retail/wholesale sales and finance background and insight locked down.
