These things are intimidating as fuck in person. They're bloody huge.

They've got some serious presence on the road.

I swear they're as tall as my dad's lifted truck.

Had a pucker moment with the Chevy equivalent a few months back. We were using it as a camera car, with the rear glass in the open position. Drove it through a parking garage, the distance between the glass and the garage ceiling was four inches at most.

nah it was black and I'm assuming lightly optioned because it wasn't on big wheels.

Too boxy I guess, I just didn't like it as much as I liked the previous gen. And I usually like escalades the best out of the bunch. Idk, maybe they'll grow on me. I live in SUV paradise so I'll be seeing a lot of them in a few months.

The Escalades do look kinda awkward with the "Small" 20 inch wheels that come on lower trim level models.

yeah although putting big wheels on cars is usually hated around here it really does suit that type of SUV. Seeing X5's with the base 18's just makes me sad.

I was angry when I saw what they did to the load floor of my beloved Suburbans (Never owned one, but I've always wanted to). In order to make a "flat" load floor, they raised it up, and angled it back towards the door. Probably lost about 20% of the cargo volume, and everything will roll back towards the lift gate. The Suburban has officially jumped the shark with this latest version.

I swear these are like Taxis in Texas. I have seen EVERY one of their iterations driving around. They look good, but like the new Silverado, Its not that revolutionary.
