I like to take leftovers and repurpose them. So I took some leftover grilled skirt steak, and made it into a sandwich with sauteed peppers and onions, chipotle gouda, cilantro, mayo and sriracha on grilled tuscan bread. The best ingredient? Murphy Farms hand-rolled butter for browning up the bread.

Damn, that's a lot. I don't know how much stuff is in NY, because I don't do my grocery shopping (I'm 16).

Cilantro is the devil. That is all.

A little bit is divine. A little bit more tastes like soap.

It's a couple bucks more than the mass produced crap at most grocery stores. Such a difference, and a friggin pound of butter lasts a while.

It's pretty great, I like gouda for melting on things and this just adds a little kick.

You probably have the cilantro-hating gene, which is a real thing.

Yeah, local stuff is almost always better than national crap. NY butter is probably around the same price.

Yup, it's from a farm that doesn't even bother to have a website. They make pretty great cheese too.

I really enjoy gouda. I need to see if that exists over where I'm at.

A little bit is the most pungent thing on the planet. If it's cooked it isn't so bad, but raw cilantro, even the tinest nick off of a leaf is enough to ruin a whole bite of food.

As someone who has worked in a Deli, and has served Boars Head before, can you explain to me what that chipotle Gouda tastes like? I'm extremely curious.

This was actually Dofino , not Boar's Head. Basically just your average slightly-soft gouda, with a little bit of heat to it.

Ah, I've heard of Dofino! I think I might be able to purchase one then! :)
