I thought most problematic reliability issues with that engine were ironed out some time in the 70s.

I think that at the time the usual cure was to fit a Ford V4 (because you could). Nowadays of course an RO80 is worth more with the original engine.

70 model year if I remember correctly. With those miles it is a crapshoot as to whether it is an upgraded engine or if it still had the old rotor tips in it, and nothing is said about it.

I saw one parked in front of a hotel a few years ago. It was exactly the same color green, if I recall correctly. It was in the Netherlands, but the car had German plates.
