Online! Although, I usually look around for vender reviews. Some are really shady . Others are really good with their service . I will pay a little extra to have piece of mind!

Wherever I can get parts for my obscure-ass cars. TwosRUs is the go-to MR2 site, and TechnoToyTuning has a lot of stuff for vintage Japanese cars, and Xcessive Manufacturing makes some Cressida stuff. Other than that it's pretty much community-made stuff or custom home-made stuff.

I tend to go to advance. Avoid Autozone at all costs unless you are in a bind. I got tired of repeating work due to shitty parts. If it's my own car I'll usually put more research into the part manufacturer or brand before I buy.

Depends on what I'm driving.
Luckily, the Audi/VW world is huge and there are tons of performance/upgrade/swap websites out there. For example, if you can manage the price, ECStuning.
Otherwise, for maintenance like brakes, tires, etc... tirerack and rockauto.com

Paddock Spares Ltd., Atlantic British, or Rovers North for classic Rover stuff. Sometimes eBay. Benz parts from local parts houses, Ferrrrrd parts from a variety of sources including (pending) CJ Pony. Stuff not specific to brand, sometimes JC Whitney.

I've gotten my Racing Beat front sway bar, endlinks, blocks, and brace from a wrecked '00 SE Miata through a facebook group, a correct generation Miata hardtop through careful CL searching, locking roof latches from a parted '94 through fb groups once more, and an used full Roadster Sport mid-pipe and muffler from a local Miata/RX-7 tuning/racing shop for 50% off. I don't think I've bought any parts besides fluids/belts new, lol.

It depends on what i'm trying to get parts for. If your looking for something specific let us know.
Tirerack.com for tires & wheels obviously.
Amazon.com & Rockauto.com for general maintenance parts. Lately I get all my parts local for cost. Perks of the job I have.
Jegs.com and Summitracing.com for almost everything american V8 related
AmericanMuscle.com for your 1979-2015 Mustang
CJponyparts.com for 1964-2015 Mustang
LMCtruck.com for anything truck (Ford, Dodge, Chevy) from 1940's-2013
FSwerks.com for your Ford inline-4 performance parts
All of those sell aftermarket parts and upgraded parts.

nah they're legit, the web design is circa 1998 but they carry some OEM parts for a whole lot cheaper than I can get straight from Toyota.

Wherever the hell I can.
Seriously. Having an obscure car like mine means that aftermarket parts are few and far between and never, ever, ever, compiled at one or two singular sites. I have an entire bookmarks folder with dozens of links saved for websites that might have one or two aftermarket parts for my car.
My camber bolts? Had to get them directly from Whiteline.
My new drilled and dimpled rotors? Only cQuence carries them and only on their own website.
At least the HAWK HPS pads were easily available on Amazon.
I get a lot of stuff on eBay, too.

Most of these are 944 specific because no one hardly makes anything for a FWD Lancer, and meh, it's hilarious to catch anyone in faster machinery in a bone stock Lulzcer.
So, Paragon Parts, Pelican Parts, 944online, Tire Rack, Porterfield themselves (super special Lancer-sized racecar pads, ordered directly from company), and the usual Auto Zone/O'Reilly's/Advanced/etc. for the basic stuff (fluids, cheapo brake rotors, etc., etc.).
