I am leaving the "Greater" Houston area in about 10 days, and since there was no C&C this weekend, I was wondering if there were any other gatherings or anything I could check out before I go to Austin?

I would've said go to that, because it is bonkers. There are normally upwards of 800 cars that show up (a lot of American muscle, but some really really bad ass builds, and plenty of exotics and imports too), and my friend runs it haha.

Awesome! Well, if I hear about any events in Austin I'll let you know. Can't forget about COTA being nearby there either so if the admission prices are affordable for events I'm sure you might be tempted to go when you get a break from school/school work.
