Oppo Miller 91 experts, this is your chance to get out of your mother's basement :D
To the unenlightened, the Miller 91 was a sexy one-seater race car built in the 1920s by Harry Miller. Available in both RWD and FWD versions, it was largely successful and won over 80% of Indy 500 races between 1923 and 1928.
I'm working on a similar project and my main problem right now is the steering, which, if conducted straight, would collide with the engine. The car would be a one-seater, so I can't pull a Bugatti Type 35 and re-route it a zillion ways... or is that what was done with the 91?
Basically I just want to know what the steering system on one of those (one-seater) Miller 91s looked like. If anyone knows the dimensions too, I'd like to know as well.
Thanks. :)

But, you could run the shaft above the motor and use a geared coupling or a u-joint to drop it down to the rack

Ooh, hadn't seen those before.
Running it above the engine is an interesting idea. Thanks on both accounts!
