sure I won't buy until January '16 (that's the fault point of my current ride vs value and trade and it's been paid off for a while)
2.0 Turbo auto - shut up right now. I like paddle shifters ok. I can drive stick, sure it's faster but convenience is nice and paddle shifters are fun Dammit.

I see one of these in a parking garage at school often. Looks exactly like this picture.
I want to like it, but I see the shape of a penis in the side windows and it has the tackiest fake hood scoops I've seen in a long time.

I know about the hood scoops... But the common thing is the pop the hood, unscrew them, vent pops out, cut the guts out and there you go- functional hood scoops.
Need I remind this is a fake hood scoop
Gratuitously fake. And

Dammit I liked these until I saw the penis.

That's my main problem with them. If they fixed that side window they would be decent looking. I'm not really a fan of the big plastic black grille, but I don't mind it too much.

the big plastic part needs to be flat black and the 2 valence pieces below it just need to be removed- would look much better after

eh, I'll just call it the dick window. Whoever sits back there is dick. Keeps people from sitting behind me and encroaching on my leg room

I heard that they are ditching the turbo four. Also, there are huge discounts on them so you might be able to slide that cost analysis to sooner.
I've always found the genocide to be a little too big for my taste in coupes but they seem to be capable cars (the people I knew who got the first gens got rid of them relatively quickly though).

if they're offering them with stupid discount then it may happen sooner. I don't have a problem keeping my current longer or as a cruiser.
The biggest thing between the first and second gen I've noticed is with the turbo 4 and 70 extra HP.

I would love to welcome you to the club! I have a first gen(2010) and LOVE MY 2.0T. Ain't nothing wrong with the auto, shifts great and sports mode is pretty fun. The worst thing about 2nd gen is that damn unity bumper. If you're into mods 2.0 is a better buy.

Kinda how the bumper looks a lot like an Elantra's, Tuscon's, Veloster. A 'very similar' common design language. Had the community in a little uproar when the redesign was revealed.

now I see it. But isn't Ford, Mazda,... Uhh... I'm sure there are others, guilty of doing the same? I think it's good for brand recognition.

yeah. I don't have a problem with it personally. Maybe some was hoping it to stay unique and not mainstream.Hell they dont even advertise the thing, at least where I've lived.

The turbo loster looks so much better though. The na looks like it has beaver teeth. But it's a shame you can't have the genesis speed with the veloster body

idk... the next Mustang is going to have IRS which defeats the purpose of this car. You will get a v8 and 435hp for what you pay for a Genesis V6.
Asian GTs are behind IMO.

If you are suggesting someone go from a Genesis to a Challenger I think that is the wrong arguement. 2015 mustang is the correct one, imo.
I didn't know that challengers, not only weighing the most, are only 375hp for the v8 until recently. The Genesis would wreck this car in any performance driving.
SRT is a different story but they cost way more than the Genesis.

No no, Jedidiah mentioned the fake hood scoops. There was a picture of a mustang with stock factory fake hood scoops too, same as the challengers have.

I do like the GT's, hell you can get a nice newer Coyote equipt Mustang for the same cost as the Genesis but EVERYONE has one. Plus all the soccer moms driving the v6 rentals out there too bugs me. "no no, I have a GT so it has the v8, not the v6 like theirs" "oh, well they look the same" "no they dont! and this is why!" Thats the conversation I know would happen and I dont want to have.

lol they are ridiculous common and next gen will be no different. If that is a problem that is a car to avoid. I used to not like them because of it but their value is just too great now.

I like the Veloster a lot. I was hoping that when they announced the turbo or even the r-spec they would put the Theta-II in it. So disapointed. I looked at these hard.
