Yeah I have no doubt they looked at the interceptor. They used them as police cars in Japan. Its very small, based on the 1600 roadster.

I like it. Saw one of these this morning, not the one pictured. It was fairly rough but it was going down the road so points for that.

Here's the thing: The Silvia (the 1600 Coupe) above came out before the Interceptor. 1965 vs 1966.

They are pretty small, there is a Honda S coupe from that year near me and its tiny as well. They are both very pretty. There is a little group growing for these in N. CA.

I always thought of the CSP311 as a Fulvia with RWD proportions.
Interestingly enough, the Silvia came even before that, September 1964 vs March 1965.
