Well they do seem to have a thing against cupholders.

Oddly enough, one time at Mercedes, we were asked to collect 'merican sized fast food drink cups... like from Taco Bell n' such and we sent them to Germany for reasons.

As I've said before, the Germans really don't talk on the phone, or read, or eat and drink, while on the road. I think the cupholders were more of a case of: "Ze obese Americans vant cupholders in ze car? Fine! But ze will nicht be able to put anytsing in zem!"

Mine is worse.
Only one in front, too small for anything, and if liquid goes on those buttons, you're buggered.

That looks roomy and sturdy compared to mine. It's the slider above the a/c controls. It barely holds a 12oz drink and you can't even sit 2 McDonald's drinks side by side.
Not mine, but same thing.
