that's a pretty nice setup. I'd rather have one of these that is paid for than a "real" motor home that if often times more luxurious than a house.

I've thought about such things as well. A friend and I a few years ago did a 7,000 km road trip. Being able to shower every day (or even every second day) would have made it a much more enjoyable experience. I've often thought that a custom build camper on a truck chassis could be interesting. Remove the box of the truck for a few more inches of room on each side, mount a large fresh water tank and greywater tank, etc...
