On display at Meilenwerk in Sindelfingen, Germany.
An utterly breathtaking automobile.
To be allowed to get so close to it was an absolute honor.

I saw one last weekend at a museum. It was parked right by a MKIII GT40 and a E Type Coupe.

This. "Rolling sculpture."
As a friend of mine used to say, "If I had one of those, I'd park it in my living room and serve martinis out of it."

I've seen 300SLs and 190SLs up close and personal. Fuel injected and carburated. They're the most beautiful cars I have ever seen in person, and Ive seen a massive amount of cars up close.
I just wish they kept the original round headlights, instead of changing the headlight design. No matter what, its amazingly gorgeous though. If I owned one, I would drive it regularly. Thats just what they were intended to, and I will not be the one to come between those intentions.
