Kinja'd!!!

That's right, even miserable peasants like you and I can now be stars in the reasonably priced car.

Quote from TG website:

'Be the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. Earn your own place on our celebrity leaderboard. See why the Follow-through earned its name and how an Ariel Atom can reshape your face. Hang around the actual hangar where Top Gear is filmed in our authentic replica of the Top Gear studio, complete with the presenters' chairs, car displays and old crisp packets. Sit in Clarkson's seat, re-arrange the Cool Wall, and check out some amazing cars that have featured in the show. It's just like experiencing Top Gear on the telly. Except it's not on the telly'

There's only one reasonable response.

Meh. For the money there's many tracks I would rather drive instead of fly over to England and drive the TGTT.

True, there are other tracks more deserving of your money. This one obviously has the Top Gear 'yeah I've been there done that, knock it off the bucket list' factor behind it.

As a bucket list track, fine, but its slightly annoying that they won't let you drive your own car...

And what about Imola, Spa-Francorchamps, Silverstone, Donington Park, and the Green Hell? I mean, you can just go drive the freaking Nürburgring on most weekends. Surely they are more deserving of frymoney.gif than Dunsfold Park...

For straight up core driving, yeah hit up any one of those listed. I'd love to hit up Spa-Francorchamps, although it would take me forever to get round.

TGTT is definitely an 'in it for the giggles' track day.

May: Hang on a minute, though. Isn't our track a figure of eight?

Clarkson: Yes, it is! That makes it even better! Imagine, you're in an F1 car, you'd be flat out towards follow-through. About to go right, and then there'd be another F1 car coming the other way about to go left towards Chicago. Your closing speed is about 350 miles an hour.

Hammond: I think...I think the most common phrase we'd hear from the commentary team would be, "Tumbling end over end."
