I will never understand women. All those emotions and stuff must be exhausting to live with.

Same boat...the women I tried to forget after feeling that she was not interested as she never calls or text and I always have to make the plans work, showed up yesterday to the bar I go each week unexpectedly after 3-4 weeks of stopping texting/calling her. This messed me up...as I got bit closer to a jalop/metalhead girl that I liked since last year during that time...dammit.

No man really understands women. One could argue that women don't, either. There are two important skills to learn. One is knowing when to say "I'm sorry, you're right", and when to just lay low and not give them any reason to attack. The second is to never fool yourself into thinking that you do understand them. That will bite you in the ass.

I can't remember if this was actually a quote from Al Bundy or not, but your post reminds me of it all the same.

Patience. It is all about patience. "I understand why you feel that way", "yes dear" and some other affirming words always help. A lot of the 'issues' I have had with women are because I wouldn't validate their feelings, I would go right into fixing them. Validate, discuss, then suggest if possible.

"Let's look at it from the other side" - usually works best but can be dangerous
