Aside from that Mr. Allision, how do you like the car?

"We don't have as much downforce as the people that are quicker than us, we don't have as much power as the people that are quicker than us and our car is too tricky to drive. It's got too loose a rear end and even with two drivers who are extremely sensitive drivers and gentle on tyres it tends to chew its tyres a bit quickly." -Ferrari technical director James Allison (via !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! )

This is why I don't want Kimi to retire. If he were in a good car, then we'd see how great of a driver he really is.

He is a great driver, but he's not getting anywhere near the results Fernando is getting in the same car. As shitty as it is, perhaps current iteration of that car suits Fernando's driving style much more.

This is true. Fernando has been with Ferrari much longer, so they know his driving style and build the cars to suit him.

I don't think that is necessarily true. I think Fernando is simply that much better than Kimi. I don't like Alonso at all but it is hard to argue against the statement that he is the most talented driver on the grid right now.

Either that, or Fernando is just used to the way Ferrari builds cars and is used to driving them. I would imagine that, like any road car, the Ferrari has a certain feel to the way it drives, even as the formula changes year to year (or race to race :/ ). Had Kimi stayed with Ferrari all these years, he might have a similar familiarity with the car.

Exactly.

I agree about Fernando, but I was being polite to Brian. :) I don't have any strong feelings about Fernando one way or the other. I support the Scuderia, and whoever happens to be driving for them.

I'm a fan of Ferrari but have disliked their drivers for about 8 years now. Unless Ferrari gets someone I like I'm really hopeful that Simona gets a ride with Sauber next year so I have someone to support.

Whoever minus Massa right? cmon, that guy was just wasting a seat at ferrari where good drivers like Hulkenberg or Ricciardo should have been before.
Still, he is now wasting a space at williams, where Rookie Bottas has taken the leadership of the team.
