The warranty and Tribeca payments end this year, I might trade it for this. What does the Oppo collective mind think?

It certainly won't be as cheap as the Suby to run, and won't have the cargo space, but not too bad overall. The 3.6 is a pretty good engine, and Cayennes in general have very good powertrain longevity. The only negative that comes to mind is that the high pressure injection pump will fail, I promise. It has an extended factory warranty for just that though, so that helps. If it hasn't already had a battery replacement, it's due for one, so make sure they do it before the sale. They're big, expensive, and under the driver's seat. Be prepared for sticker shock on parts too, because Porsche.

Those 2nd gen Cayennes are far better than the first gen, which had all kinds of bugs & inexcusable mechanical foibles.

The Scoobie has been a reliable friend for the past 3 years, I learned a few things from it (my first SUV), but I always wanted something a bit sportier and I love how the 2nd gen cayenne looks. The parts will indeed be expensive, and as I live in Brazil I'm guessing a lot more expensive than in the US.

Thanks for the help, I'll take these things into consideration. I've read your authorship post, so nice to have a german car expert here!

Thanks! So I have to ask... looking at German cars, in Brazil, now? Is that even allowed? I'm not really a futbol guy, so no sides here, just curious. ;)

Hahah I cheered for Germany since Brazil's first game was pitiful , not really a futbol guy either. Guess I'll have to park it in the shadows after putting the german and swiss flags stickers on the back. :P
