It looks great! The previous owner dipped it waaaaaay too thin in some places, so I needed to get it off with Goo Gone

Everytime you post about your 300ZX you make me miss my old one more and more.
It's the only car I should of never sold.

Turbo timer! Just kidding. Why the NA front facia? And what year? That's a 95/96 front bumper

89-91, right? No air bag wheel. YHIS CONFUSES ME SO MUCH
![]() 07/30/2014 at 16:27 |

No it Was a Twin Turbo. the car came from Japan with an aftermarket bumper that was all broken because the Tein Coilovers were on their lowest setting. I scored an NA bumper for free(that was already silver) so I threw that on there, raised the suspension and rocked it that way until I sold it.
notice the turbo timer on the dash.

Yeah, except this douche in a red Ferrari 360 keeps following me and climbing into the passenger side and bitching about it not having a gated manual.....

Hell yeah! RHD all the way! It can be handy if you decide to be a rural mail carrier.

That's what I was referring to since the 300ZX TT still isn't 25 years old which means having one in the US is impossible. Unless you are in Canada.
![]() 07/30/2014 at 16:40 |

oh yeah, how did you get that imported in the states?

Wrong person, but I think he's in Canada.

it was actually better to drive in every way other than turning left at a light or passing on a undivided highway. It just feels way more natural driving on the right side.
oh yeah drive thrus suck as well.

Pro tip: WD-40 is a great way to remove Plastidip. Soak it, wait a bit, and scrub. Works wonderfully.

W ill it damage the paint?
![]() 07/30/2014 at 21:47 |

Looks way better de-dipped.
There's a product called Tire Wet, I fairly certain they sell it at Walmart. Spray it on the wheels for about 5 minutes then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.

Shouldn't. I tried to dip the cowl of my hood, and that was my method of removal. I tried multiple times, and the paint came out just fine.

Here’s the cheapest Place to get the Plasti-Dip type paint. They have it for $55 a Gallon which as you know is $20 cheaper than Plasti-Dip. I’ve Dipped a lot of cars in my shop with Plasti-Dip and Plasteke is actually a better quality of paint. Plus the rectangle cans are so much easier to handle and the shipping package is smaller.I even signed up as a Certified Plasteke Shop and now they send me a bunch of business. Call 720-515-4003 and Dan will hook you up but tell him JP sent you.
