I'm not very familiar with time attack rules but it seems odd that the car such low amount of aerodynamic aids. It seems to have huge amount of power and a lot of grip issues.

I was thinking I might go to WTAC this year.
Then I went to their page and the 787B will be there too.

You are going? If so, please do take pictures. The contraptions people make are crazy!

Well there aren't many rules, they aren't allowed to use racing slicks and the cars have to production based. It is a pretty open racing league. Some of the cars can't afford to make the aero so they try and make it up with insane power. Watch the first GTR here. It visibly looks fast.

I reckon I will, I'm trying to wrangle some mates to go with me before I sink money on the tickets. I don't think I'll have too much trouble finding people to go with though.

Big front splitter is quite cheap solution for getting a bit more downforce to the front wheels. Really big rear wing will work in the rear and shouldn't cost very much (compared to that sequential gearbox everything is pretty cheap). Diffuser in the rear is a bit more complicated task to construct. With small winglets and such its a game of guessing.
